We have had some exciting changes with the Volunteer Services Team recently and would like to introduce the team.
Senior Manager of Volunteer Services
Hailey has been part of Habitat Charlotte Region for the three years and is excited to continue building meaningful relationships and work together to create a lasting impact in our community. Originally from Wisconsin, Hailey is a proud cheese lover and an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She loves spending her free time outdoors and discovering the vibrant coffee shops in the area.

Volunteer Engagement Manager
Courtney leads Habitat Charlotte Region’s construction volunteer programs and supports with the volunteer needs for our seven ReStore locations. She has been on the team for seven years and loves working all of our volunteers! She is a mother of three beautiful children, loved football, and enjoys to cook with her family.

Kay recently joined to Habitat Charlotte Region team and is excited to work with our amazing volunteers. She loves the outdoors, thrifting, and animals so feel free to share shopping recommendations or cute pics of your pets with her! Each month, Kay will hold office hours so you can have the opportunity to meet with her in person at one of our ReStore locations.

Volunteer Recruitment Specialist
Jeannie started working at Habitat Charlotte Region in 2008 as an AmeriCorps with the Critical Home Repair program, and has since served as a full-time team member, AmeriCorps alum, and volunteer. Jeannie met her husband through the AmeriCorps program and has two sons who are seven and four years old. She loves talking to volunteers about Habitat and helping them find their role within our organization.

Volunteer Project Specialist
Some of you may know Katie from her work with AmeriCorps or at Julia’s Cafe and Books. Katie looks forward to acknowledge and celebrate our volunteers’ hard work in her new role. Born and raised in Charlotte, Katie is passionate about the beauty of the natural world and is a proud pet parent to two very spoiled cats and one dog. Katie is currently completing her master’s degree in Public Administration.

Volunteer & Organizational Advancement Coordinator
Margo was part of the Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County team before joining Habitat Charlotte Region after the two affiliates joined forces in October 2024. She looks forward to supporting, developing, and fostering the volunteer experience in her new role. Margo is originally from Buffalo, NY but has spent that last 25 years in North Carolina. She is deeply committed to serving her community and nurturing the passions of youth through arts, crafts, sports, and education.
