Habitat Charlotte Region can only grow when our volunteers, partners, donors, and the families we serve, plant the seeds of love and community.

Springtime brings about new growth and opportunity.  Join us in supporting the mission that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to live. This time of year, we present our annual fundraising gala, the Blue Jean Bash, and great volunteer opportunities like our annual CEO Build and Springtime Rock The Block community service event.

blue jean bash 2023

April of 2023 sees the return of our annual Blue Jean Bash, where Habitat Charlotte Region brings together our generous community to help provide opportunities for affordable homeownership, economic mobility, and generational wealth creation. It is the only gala in town where denim is desired.

Tickets for this event will go on sale in February!

How You Can Help!

Rock The Block

Building homes, communities, and hope are about much more than raising walls and hammering nails (although it involves much of that, too). To truly make a lasting, sustainable impact, we must invest more in the communities we serve and which future Habitat homeowners will call home.

Twice each year, Habitat Charlotte Region staff, volunteers, partners, and homeowners-in-process come together for Rock the Block. During this community cleanup event, volunteers go house to house, helping current residents of a neighborhood to complete a variety of projects. Volunteers clean gutters, paint, rake leaves, mow lawns, haul away trash and unwanted items to be donated to our ReStores, and more.

If you or your organization are interested in participating in a Rock the Block event, please contact Volunteer Services at 704.716.7040 ext 2230 or volunteer@habitatCLTregion.org.
