Global Village Trip: Ahuachapán, El Salvador

Join us on our upcoming Global Village trip to El Salvador. This trip includes one week on a build site in Ahuachapan, with an optional tourist excursion and overnight stay at a beach resort at the end of the week. Dates are tentative and subject to change.

Estimated trip price: $1,550 – 1,750 inclusive of meals, accommodations, transportation while in country and travel accident and sickness insurance. It excludes alcoholic beverages, supplemental snacks, souvenirs and airfare. Flight costs are currently approximately $580-700.

The El Salvador workday is generally 8am-4pm working on the construction of a home within a larger community. Typical tasks include digging foundations/septic holes, mixing concrete, sifting sand, and moving block or other materials.
