Building Futures Affordable Housing Symposium
Each year, Habitat Charlotte Region brings the community together to hear from industry experts and local panelists who shed light on the ongoing affordable housing crisis impacting our part of North Carolina and communities nationwide.
The 2026 Building Futures Symposium will take place on Wednesday, March 11 at Central Piedmont Community College’s Parr Center. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Vice President, Global Housing Opportunities & Mission Engagement for Habitat for Humanity International
Natosha Reid Rice leads global housing opportunities and mission engagement at Habitat for Humanity International, where she works to expand equitable access to safe, affordable housing worldwide. A seasoned attorney and advocate for social justice, she is a sought-after speaker on leadership, equity, and community empowerment.
Her keynote will explore “Chaos or Community,” inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and invite audiences to embrace curiosity, courageousness, and co-dreaming as essential paths toward building stronger, more inclusive communities.
