Operation Playhouse
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Operation Playhouse on Friday, October 9th at the UNC Charlotte Hauser Alumni Pavilion! Thanks to the incredible energy and dedication of our community, 13 playhouses were built for local families.
Our playhouses are built and designed by our very own Playhouse Volunteer Crew, who pour love and hard work into every nail and make sure they’ll stand up to the elements for years to come. These playhouses, painted and personalized for each family, have gone to their new homes (and Charlotte Bilingual Preschool!), where they will be cherished places of play and inspiration for the children who live there.
What is a Playhouse Build?
Thank You to our Partners
This event wouldn’t be possible without the energy, hard work, and fun provided by our partners, including Levine Scholars Program, Eaton, Elliot Davis, Graycor, The Hanover Insurance Group, and ITT Inc. And a special shoutout to our friends at Reign Moving Solutions Charlotte for doing some major heavy lifting (literally) to help transport these playhouses to their new homes.
