Habitat Charlotte Region is currently seeking applicants for a Site Prep Supervisor. This role will perform and manage tasks directly related to the initial phases of new residential construction of Habitat homes. These tasks will include, but are not limited to, clearing, grading, footing and foundation installation, and public utility coordination, while upholding high standards of safety, quality, and reflection of Habitat’s core values. Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region is seeking a motivated, energetic, results-driven individual to join our team as the ReStore Manager of our Pineville location. The ReStore Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the retail store, as well as a team of paid-staff and volunteers.
The ideal candidate for the position will have strong leadership experience, demonstrate impeccable customer service skills, and show experience in adaptability and problem solving. This position is a full-time salaried position. Candidates must be willing and able to become forklift certified upon hire.

The Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region Mooresville ReStore is looking for a Temporary Sales Floor Department Manager to help out for 8 weeks. The position is scheduled to work 40 hours a week. Department Managers are key carrying members of management that are responsible for assisting in managing daily operations, monitoring sales goals and objectives, cash handling, opening/closing the store, providing leadership to a team of staff and volunteers, and for maintaining exceptional customer service.
This is a temporary position for a period of 8 weeks. No benefits or paid time off will be offered during this time.

The Cornelius ReStore is searching for a part-time cashier who has energy, an excellent work ethic, a great attitude and a smile. Serving the needs of our customers is our top priority. The responsibilities will include: providing a prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience; responding and resolving customers’ requests and concerns; and assisting customers with purchases. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service, communication and cash handling skills, be able to perform repeated bending, standing, reaching and be able to occasionally lift up to 25-30 pounds unassisted.

Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region's Mooresville ReStore is seeking an energetic individual with excellent customer-service skills to assist our customers and donors. This position will be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise and donations, moving merchandise to and from the sales floor, informing customers of what we can accept as donations; while representing Habitat in a positive manner to all donors, customers and others you come in contact.
• Part-time (20-25 hours/week); rotate Monday - Saturday as scheduled by the manager
• Location: Mooresville ReStore (121 Norman Station Blvd., Mooresville, NC)

Building and repairing more homes is an integral part to our contribution to better neighborhoods and communities, increasing the number of families served. These AmeriCorps members will help manage and develop groups of skilled and unskilled volunteers and homeowner families on the build sites, all while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. The members serving in this role will be part of the AmeriCorps team that will give the necessary boost to significantly increase the number of families our affiliate is able to serve through our Critical Home Repair (CHR), Rehab and New Construction projects. With the assistance of the AmeriCorps members serving in this role, Habitat Charlotte will complete 54 new builds, 85 home repairs and 15 rehabs during the service term. We view the construction crew leaders as integral to our goals of building and repairing more homes and better neighborhoods and communities throughout our service area.
Preferred qualifications are:
• Desire to serve our community and an understanding of service oriented work
• Past history of service or related experience with Habitat for Humanity or other non-profits
• Leadership experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changes in schedules, weather conditions and other circumstances
• Construction experience
• Outdoor work environment experience
• Ability to lead volunteers
