Since our founding, volunteer groups have been a major part of volunteering at Habitat Charlotte Region. What’s more fun than doing good work with people you like? So gather your friends, family and co-workers and put your shared energy to good use by volunteering as a group. Skills and experience are not needed, just passion and a willingness to learn.

Volunteering as a group means working together for a good cause. Habitat has several ways to pitch in, pick the one that best fits your team.
Construction
(Groups of 4-15)
Volunteer as a team at Habitat Charlotte Region’s new home builds. Tasks are construction-related including framing, drywall installation, siding, painting, building sheds, trim work, minor repairs, and more.
No experience needed – site supervisors provide on-site support and training. Search for a group shift below.
Team Build Partnerships
Team Builds offer a customized volunteer experience for 10-20 people to come together and work side-by-side with Habitat on a construction site or in a ReStore.

ReStore (Groups Up to 15)
Volunteer at a local ReStore where your team can help unload donations, clean, sort or carry furniture. Shifts are split between mornings and afternoons.
