global community

Since 1987, Habitat Charlotte Region has tithed over $4 million to sister affiliates overseas, enabling construction of more than 1,350 homes for low-income families in need. Habitat for Humanity of El Salvador has been the sole recipient of international tithe and building support since 1993.

In 2017, Habitat Charlotte Region’s Board of Directors voted to add a second international partnership: Habitat for Humanity of Cambodia.

After Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte and Our Towns Habitat for Humanity merged in 2020, Habitat Charlotte Region joyfully continued a partnership with Habitat for Humanity Guatemala!

Each year, 10% of all of Habitat Charlotte Region’s unrestricted income goes to the organization’s International Partners.
