scholarships

We have two exciting scholarship opportunities available: the Build Your Career Scholarship and Project One Scholarship!

Build Your Career Scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of founding donors Bill and Donna Kenney, the Build Your Career Scholarship program is for qualified students living in a Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region home. This scholarship program provides up to $2,000 in scholarship funds each year to one or more eligible students.

If you’re a qualifying family and are interested in more information about the Build Your Career Scholarship, please contact Miranda Morris at mmorris@habitatCLTregion.org.

Project One Scholarships

Project One offers scholarships to students who are Mecklenburg County residents planning to attend a North Carolina public university and have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Recipients must demonstrate initiative and come from a family with a household income at or below 200 percent of poverty rate. Students are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The application cycle typically starts in November and is due at the beginning of March.  If you or someone you know may qualify, you can visit projectonescholars.org or reach out to Sydney Metcalf at smetcalf@habitatCLTregion.org.
